Travel Insurance

Get some. Just as obtaining visas is not straight forward, neither is obtaining the 'right' insurance.

Many policies run for a maximum number of days. However there are now policies known variously as 'backpacker' or extended holiday plans. It is also possible to purchase an annual or multi-trip policy.

We are currently favouring American Express, again, check maximum days per trip. Further, an annual policy can only be purchased within a month or so of departure.
